LIC IPO UPI Mandate Request not received in Google Pay

Not getting the mandate request for the LIC IPO in your UPI app? Don't worry, follow the steps mentioned below to view the mandate request from LIC and approve the same.



  1. Open your GPay UPI App
  2. Click on your profile picture
  3. Scroll down to Autopay and open it
  4. You will see all the Live / Pending and Completed mandates for your account
  5. Go to Pending tab where you can see the mandate request from LIC with the following details
    • Payee UPI ID: ipo.licinse@kotak
    • Notes/Description: Your unique reference number
    • Start date: start date of the mandate - normally the date of application
    • End date: end date of the mandate - 19 May 2022
    • Frequency: one time
    • Amount: the maximum amount you are investing in the IPO (actual amount may wary based on the listing price and number of subscribers)
  6. If everything looks good, approve the mandate
  7. You will see the mandate in 'Awaiting funds withdrawal' state (earlier 'Payment Scheduled -> Funds available for withdrawal')
  8. Make a note of the unique mandate number for future reference

Important dates to remember for the LIC IPO

Below given the important dates regarding the historical LIC IPO:
  • Offer start date - 2022-05-04 
  • Offer end date - 2022-05-09 
  • Allotment finalisation - 2022-05-12 
  • Refund initiation - 2022-05-13 
  • Demat transfer - 2022-05-16 
  • Listing - 2022-05-17 
  • Mandate end - 2022-05-19

How to check the allotment status?

There are two ways you can check the allotment status of IPOs. The first with BSE and the second with the Corporate Registrar, which in this case is KFIN Technologies.

Option 1: BSE website
  1. Go to BSE Issue Application Status page
  2. Select Issue Type as 'Equity'
  3. Select Issue Name as 'LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD' (if the list is read only, wait for few seconds for the data to load)
  4. Enter the application number (you would have received an email from BSE with the application details) or your PAN number and click on Search.
Option 2: KFIN Technologies site
  1. Go to KFIN IPO status website
  2. Click on LIC IPO or Other IPOs
  3. Enter Application No or DPID/Client ID or PAN
  4. Solve the Captcha and click on Search
