QUBO Dashcam PRO 4K Review - How to fix video freezing issue

QUBO Dashcam Pro 4K comes in two variants, basic and one with rear camera. The video can be recorded in 4K or HD which gives a good quality video in good lighting conditions.

Some customers are facing issues with the recorded video freezing or skipping frames. You can try the following troubleshooting steps to get rid of this issue:
  1. Change your SD card to the recommended ones as shows in the below image (some customers reported that only Strontium card worked in their device while for some Samsung. Better try both before reaching out to customer care, also make sure you are inserting class 10 and above SD cards only):

  2. Format the SD card using the option given in the Dashcam
  3. Format the SD card using a computer (FAT32)
  4. Upgrade the firmware to the latest (you will get that option in QUBO Pro app if any update is available)
  5. Do a factory reset
  6. Remove the device from the app and re-add
  7. Uninstall QUBO Pro app from mobile, reinstall the app and re-add the device (its strange but this also worked for few customers)
You can download QUBO Pro 4K Dashcam user's manual by clicking this link. Also you can download QUBO Parking Assist Hardware Kit User's Manual using this link.

Loop recording - QUBO PRO supports loop recording, it works on the functionality called FIFO which is First In First Out. Thus the recordings which were saved first will get auto deleted and new recording will take its place. Emergency recordings which are created as Jolt Detected do not get over written under FIFO policy.

Downloading videos - You can download the videos by connecting your mobile using wifi (provided by the Dashcam). Also you can remove the SD card and directly insert it into your mobile or to a computer (using the adapter provided).
